About Us

My name is Julio Alonso De León, I lead an architecture and interior design studio based in Monterrey, Mexico. While most of our work has been realized in northern Mexico, my dual citizenship (Mexican and American) has allowed me to participate in architectural design at South Texas as well.

We specialize in custom residential architecture and interior design. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate closely with craftsmen, construction workers, carpenters, metalworkers, stone masons, and others whose skill and knowledge have deeply influenced our approach. Working alongside them has given us a grounded understanding of materials, techniques, and limitations, allowing us to design with both creativity and technical precision. We aim to propose ideas that are not only expressive, but also practical and buildable.

We believe in architecture that moves people, spaces that evoke wonder, appreciation, surprise, and a deep sense of belonging. We pursue design that gestures toward the sublime and the masterful, where even everyday elements carry artistic value that elevates daily life beyond utility.

We also believe that collaboration among passionate design professionals is essential to collective growth. Just as major artistic movements emerged from dialogue and critique among small, committed circles, we’re convinced that sharing ideas, talent, and experience leads to more meaningful and impactful work.
